Welcome to Southside's Children's Ministry! Children are a gift from God and we are excited about partnering with parents in "training up a child in the way they should go". Because it is our desire to see all children have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we offer many opportunities that will assist you in laying strong spiritual foundations of faith in the life of your child from the time they are born through sixth grade.   Weekday Ministry

Southside Baptist Weekday Children's Ministry is a ministry to families looking for christian based childcare, preschool and after school care for their children.  We operate Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 6:30pm and provide care for children 6 weeks through 6th grade.  We are licensed with DSS and meet all the standards required by DHEC.  We provide 2 snacks and hot lunches daily as well as after school pick-up from all Florence School District 1 elementary schools.

Our preschool program for 2K - 4K is taught by trained teachers and uses the Abeka curriculum.  We work closely with FSD1 in making sure your preschooler is ready to enter 5K.
